Use your own domain VIP

By default your pages are hosted for you on a shared ACM address. VIP lets you serve them on your own domain instead — for example go.yourbrand.com — so every link carries your brand.

What you'll need

Need more detail? For more detailed, step-by-step setup instructions, see the full custom domain setup guide.

Add your domain

  1. Open Domains in the left-hand menu.
  2. Enter the domain (or subdomain) you want to use and add it.
  3. ACM shows you the exact DNS record to create.
  4. Add that record at your domain registrar / DNS provider and save.
  5. Come back to ACM — the domain activates automatically once the record is detected, and you'll get an email when it's live.
DNS can take a little while DNS changes sometimes take a few minutes to a few hours to spread. If it's not active straight away, give it some time — ACM keeps checking in the background and emails you when it's ready.

Point a Machine at your domain

Once a domain is active, open a Machine and go to Step 4. Use the Domain dropdown to choose it — the page links update to your domain right away. Switching only changes the links; your pages and stats stay put.

How many domains?

VIP and Bundle plans support up to three custom domains.

Stuck on DNS? Registrars all label things slightly differently. If you're not sure which record to add or where, contact support with your domain and we'll get back to you.
